#1 Ranked heavyweight MMA fighter- NortheastMMA.com, Reality Fighting Heavyweight Champion Parker Porter says "I’ve been training Mixed Martial Arts since 2006 and loving every minute of it.  My life is structured around being able to train and follow my dreams of going as far in this sport as I can.  Currently, I work as a personal trainer which allows time to train and access to great strength and conditioning coaching.  As a heavyweight, I believe my conditioning is what sets me apart from most of my potential competition.  Also, I embrace the importance of having well rounded skills.  I train striking, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Wrestling at Underdog Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (UBJJ) in Hartford, Ct.  I fight with a lot of heart and as far as my style goes, I just do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Currently I am a purple belt in BJJ under Professor Fabiano Teles (UBJJ). I’ve done quite a few grappling competitions. Some of the highlights are listed below:
    - 5x NAGA Champion
    - Grappler's Quest Champion
    - ADCC Regionals Champion
    - 3rd place Pan Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi 2009

Right now I am eager to take my career as a professional fighter to the next level and I am openly and actively seeking new opportunities and challenges.  I’ve fought internationally and on national television.

On February 26th at Mohegan Sun in Ct., I won the Reality Fighting Heavyweight championship.  This is my first title belt and it was special for me because I was fighting in my own “backyard”.   It was a great show with over 5000 people in attendance.
